THE CHALLENGES
Campania NewSteel / Apple Developer Academy | Technology for Digital Safety and Anti-Bullying Support
Cyberbullying is one of the most significant challenges our society is facing, with serious impacts on the well-being and growth of adolescents and young people. The growing use of digital environments — such as social networks, messaging apps, and online gaming platforms — has made it increasingly difficult to identify this phenomenon. Emerging technologies — from artificial intelligence to virtual reality and gamification — offer new opportunities to develop tools that promote awareness, mutual respect, and responsible behavior.
The Challenge
The challenge is to design an innovative experience based on Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), or game mechanics that helps raise awareness among young people about the responsible use of technology and encourages them to become active bystanders when facing online bullying. A working prototype is not required, but a clear and well-structured proposal should be presented, describing the logic of the experience — rules, objectives, interaction dynamics, and reward system — and demonstrating the educational and social potential of the idea.

Crédit Agricole Italia | Two challenges about Artificial Intelligence
Crédit Agricole Italia launches two challenges about Artificial Intelligence, developed with the support of the Territorial Committee of Campania—prominent entrepreneurs from Campania region—who have identified what they believe are the most crucial issues faced by local businesses.
Challenge 1 – Predict to Decide: Optimizing Operational Efficiency with AI
In many organizations, critical operational activities are still hindered by repetitive processes, information silos, long response times, and the absence of predictive insights. The companies involved in the project have highlighted concrete needs:
- reducing human error and automating notifications and validations in administrative and production contexts,
- managing HR shifts more efficiently,
- streamlining logistics flows and optimizing production planning,
- quickly accessing data and reports for strategic decision-making,
- eliminating low-value-added tasks to free up time and resources.
Artificial Intelligence, combined with advanced analytics and visualization tools, can address these needs through reliable forecasting and real-time decision support.
The Challenge
Design a digital solution based on predictive and intelligent decision-making tools (AI, ML, forecasting, interactive dashboards) that enables an organization to:
- forecast critical events or bottlenecks,
- improve efficiency in a specific operational area (e.g., logistics, administration, factory, human resources),
- support decisions in a timely and visual way
Your goal is to demonstrate how AI can transform data and workflows into operational insights, reducing costs, errors, and delays. You may choose to work on:
- an interactive interface for operators,
- an integrable predictive engine,
- a simulation that demonstrates the impact in a real business context.
Challenge 2 – Smart Recruiting for Specialized Talent
Finding specialized talent is one of the most complex challenges businesses face today.
From the survey conducted among entrepreneurs in CA Italia’s Territorial Committee, two strong and clear signals emerged:
- companies are struggling immensely to recruit qualified technical personnel,
- the entire recruitment process needs to be rethought—making it more targeted, effective, and also more attractive to candidates.
The difficulty lies on both sides of the funnel: on one side, a lack of suitable candidates through traditional channels; on the other, the need to assess skills more flexibly, taking into account potential, motivation, and alternative career paths.
The Challenge
Design an innovative solution for recruiting specialized talent that addresses one or more of the following challenges:
- identifying qualified profiles through unconventional channels,
- improving the match between company and candidate (e.g., through AI, NLP, automated scoring),
- enhancing soft skills and potential through interactive experiences,
- improving the efficiency of HR processes by reducing time and costs.

EAV: ReBrand EAV – Visual, Technological and Territorial Identity for Sustainable Mobility
EAV is more than a transport operator: it is an integral part of the urban fabric of Naples and Campania. At a time when sustainability, innovation, and public communication are key factors, the company aims to strengthen its brand as a symbol of smart mobility, environmentally conscious and deeply rooted in the territory. The challenge is not to improve the service offered, but to reposition EAV’s image with creativity and consistency, enhancing its role in Local Public Transport to improve services for citizens.
The Challenge
Teams are invited to design and develop a creative and/or technological proposal capable of redefining the EAV brand, effectively and originally communicating its core values: environmental sustainability, digital innovation, connection to the territory and the measures taken. Solutions may include immersive experiences, visual storytelling, artistic installations, digital tools, or new communication strategies, as long as they aim to strengthen the company’s recognizability and positive perception. Each project must include a structured concept, a realistic prototype or simulation, and a narrative that highlights its potential impact. The proposal is not intended to gather user feedback, but to express EAV’s most authentic and inspiring identity.

Bhblasted – Campaign Syncer: Automating Multi-Platform Advertising Campaigns
Bhblasted is a benefit corporation based in Caserta, operating in the tech and digital sector. The company integrates technological innovation and social responsibility, developing solutions ranging from performance advertising to advanced e-commerce and just-in-time and made-to-order clothing production. In the field of digital marketing, one of the most recurring problems is the manual creation of multi-platform advertising campaigns. Each channel has different technical specifications, formats, text limits, and targeting options: this results in hours of work, inefficiencies, and often inconsistent content across platforms.
The Challenge
The challenge is to develop a solution that, starting from a single input (for example, a product/service description), is able to automate the creation of optimized advertising campaigns for multiple platforms.
The system must:
- Generate content adapted to the specifics of Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
- Optimize copy, targeting, and budget for each channel.
- Produce outputs ready to be used by marketing managers.
Teams can integrate additional features, such as the automatic generation of creative assets (images, videos, landing pages, copy) via AI or external libraries.
The expected outcome is the design of a service that drastically reduces the time and complexity of campaign management, increasing efficiency and communication consistency.

Effetti Digitali Italiani | Can New Technologies Revolutionize Audiovisual Production?
Quantum computers are becoming a tangible reality and are just the latest in a series of incredible innovations in recent years. For this reason, it is increasingly important to explore their potential in new and creative fields, such as the humanities and, in particular, audiovisual content production.
In the context of the massive amount of data to be processed, quantum computing, generative AI, and machine learning — even in hybrid and inspired forms — can represent an innovative lever to transform complex processes. The challenge calls for rethinking the phases of audiovisual production through a digital and sustainable lens, imagining the integration — current or future — of advanced technologies.
The phases involved in a typical production are:
- Pre-production. In this phase the subject is defined, the script is written, the budget is set, the cast and crew are selected, locations are chosen, and storyboards and materials are prepared.
- Production, i.e., the actual filming, with direction of actors and crew on set.
- Post-production, where the footage is edited and enhanced with visual effects, color correction, sound, and music, leading to the final version of the product.
Imagine solutions focused on one or more of the following areas:
- Area 1: Impact of Audiovisual Production Methodologies in Quantum Computing Environments
Reduction of computation time in applications for generating complex digital effects (e.g., smoke simulations, fluids, waterfalls, etc.) through the use of Quantum Computing.
Development of models for simulating complex scenarios in audiovisual contexts through the use of quantum computing.
Acceleration of rendering and animation processes using quantum algorithms to improve performance and efficiency.
Optimization of storage space through quantum compression techniques and efficient data management.
